Para ID 2055 has won the most recent parachain lease auction.
Gavin Wood published Gov2: Polkadot’s Next Generation of Decentralised Governance.
🔴 🏛 Governance
Referendum 69, proposing to upgrade the Polkadot relay chain to runtime v9250, is currently passing by a wide margin.
Motion 231, to fund Manta’s development of OpenZL, was approved.
Motion 232, to top-up the anti-scam bounty funds, was disapproved.
Motion 233, to increase the maximum number of HRMP channels from 10 to 30, was approved.
Motion 234, to fund development of a cross-chain transaction history service, is under Council consideration.
Kusama Updates ₑₓₚₑcₜ cₕₐₒₛ

Kintsugi won the 44th parachain slot auction.
🦅 🏛 Governance
Referendum 215, removing 18 proposals from the public queue each seeking to remove a different Kusama Council member, is currently passing unanimously with 2 days left to vote.
Referendum 216, proposing to upgrade the Kusama relay chain to runtime v9260, is passing by a wide margin.
Motion 514, to fund RadiumBlock’s public endpoint service for Kusama, was approved.
Motion 515, to fund a liquidity proposal for Genshiro, was approved by the Council and is up for a community vote.
Motion 516, to fund further governance participation rewards, was approved. The Governance experiment powered by RMRK’s advanced NFT system is a resounding success, creating a 700% increase in governance participation.
Jay Chrawnna published a post for feedback for further developing WagMedia, which, among other goals, aims to incentivize individual contributors to produce Kusama content.
There is a post looking to make a virtual reality documentary about the Polkadot/Kusama ecosystem.
