🦅 ⭕️ Relay Chain
total supply - ~13.1m KSM | staking - 49.3% | parachains & crowdloans - 2%
🦅 🏛 Governance
Referendum 24 (gov2), upgrading the Kusama runtime to v9350, has passed and been executed.
Referendum 25 (gov2), extending Encointer’s common good parachain lease by 48 weeks, has passed.
Referendum 255 (gov1), proposing to swap lease periods, is currently failing with 48% in favor. Note that this is an obsolete proposal as Shiden has already swapped lease periods via XCM.
With the passing and execution of Referendum 16 (which fixes the slashing incident from last week), a new validator election has taken place and the longest era in Kusama history has ended.
There are 9 active Gov2 Referenda up for vote. Among them, the more interesting ones are Referendum 18, funding a Treasury Proposal for a new multisig solution by InvArch, and Referendum 39, kicking off the start of a new auction.
