Polkadot Updates
🔴 ⭕️ Relay Chain

Polkadot 0.9.32 has been released with LOW upgrade priority.
An extensive analysis of recent Polkadot releases has been posted to the Polkadot Forum - worth checking out to know what’s coming and what has come out recently.
Ajuna has won the most recent parachain lease auction.
🔴 🏛 Governance
Referendum 80, seeking sufficiency for USDT on Statemint, has passed
Referendum 81, to on-board Collectives as a common-good parachain, is passing with 100% in favor.
Referendum 84, proposing to upgrade the Polkadot relay chain to runtime v9300, has passed.
There are now 64 nomination pools live (out of a currently possible 64). Learn how to join nomination pools on Polkadot, and start collecting rewards with as little as 1 DOT.
Motion 290 to fund Centrifuge’s FUDGE—core library for local integration tests in Substrate that aims to provide a simple and generic way to interact with and manipulate the database of a substrate-based blockchain—has been approved by the council.
Motion 292, to fund LimeChain—aiming to diversify the runtime development process on Polkadot by creating a framework for building Go Runtimes—is up for a vote.

Referendum 241, proposing to fund development of Soramitsu’s Fearless Wallet, did not pass.
Referendum 242, proposing to open an HRMP channel between Statemine and Kintsugi, is currently passing with 99% in favor.
Referendum 243, proposing to extend Encointer’s common-good parachain lease slot another 48 weeks, is passing with 99% in favor.
Referendum 244, proposing to upgrade the Kusama relay chain runtime to v9320, is passing with 99% in favor and 10 days left to vote.
Note that upgrading to runtime v9320 will activate Gov v2. However, the current version of governance on Kusama will initially run in parallel.
Motion 568, aiming to put forward the creation of a Spanish Content and Event Production Bounty and create a mechanism with a focus on speed, effectiveness and control for content audits, has passed the Council vote.
Motion 571 to un-brick the Basilisk parachain (ID 2090) has passed Council vote: the proposal is now up for community vote as Referendum 245.
There are 12 public proposals vying to be the next referendum to vote on.

SubWallet announced public testing of the SubWallet Mobile App on both iOS and Android.
Astar announced Swanky WASM – an all-in-one tool for WASM Smart Contract developers.
Astar held a webinar to announce what to look forward to in the last quarter of 2022, as well as other news related to its ecosystem.
Moonriver announced a runtime upgrade to enable auto-compounding for staking rewards, randomness, and on-chain ID verification for users on the network.
Phala announced that SubBridge has opened a two-way HRMP channel between Khala and Shiden.
Turing published a new governance update.
Taipo (dApp on Acala) has closed a $4M seed round funding led by Polychain, Hypersphere, Arrington, and other investment projects.
Origin Trail announced new updates on both testnet layers for its parachain and the Decentralized Knowledge Graph.
Origin Trail presented the new Magnify app to help users discover and search for connections in the world of Web3 assets created on the Origin's Decentralized Knowledge Graph.
Bifrost Finance has completed the integration with Ledger in dev mode.
Bifrost revealed updates to their Back To Asgard NFT collection, including a plan to integrate RMRK's pallet and NFT assets on its main network and unlock a new level of interoperability between NFTs and DeFi applications.
Polkadex announced Polkadex Orderbook, designed to combine the advantages of CEXs and DEXs.
HydraDX published Pillars of Hydralosophy (1), explaining why it chose to build its own L1.
Zeitgeist published the first issue of a new biweekly update series.
Parallel/Heiko announced that INTR, iBTC, KINT and KBTC are now supported on its AMM (automated market maker).
